About

spitfire

Spitfire Athlete is the ultimate strength training app for women. Our app features structured training plans for a variety of goals like learning how to do your first pull-up, how to strength train for running, or how to build endurance for your first triathlon.

Spitfire has helped 100,000+ women lift more than their bodyweight, learn how to do their first pull-up, strength train throughout their pregnancy, fight through cancer, and overcome anorexia.

The app includes comprehensive guides on strength training and lets you track how much weight you lifted and watch videos on how to safely complete various exercises.

As long-time athletes, we were upset with the quality of most apps on the market, how they portray women, and the goals they assume we aspire to. Many fitness resources focus entirely on achieving aesthetics instead of developing abilities. We promote the athlete’s mentality – it’s about what you can do, what you can achieve. We show you how.

Spitfire is built by two female engineers who are competitive athletes.
